As I was travelling over the United Kingdom in 1998...
I can never shake off the idea of what happened while flying in a plane. After that day I never flew again. A flock of whooper swans were planning on migrating through the path of the plane. As we took off turbulence kicked in and almost made me throw up. I gazed out of the window and watched as we slowly escalated into the air. I saw the swans before they struck. One got caught in the engine and I saw fire as we fell. I survived the crash, no one else did.
